If you don't have any business cards now is the time to get some designed and ordered. You can design some for yourself on Canva.com or ask a graphic designer to help you. I’ve given you some hints and tips in the Business Cards & Banners Guide below.

A banner isn’t necessary to start with - and you may never need one at all - but in case it’s something you decide to have made further down the line, I’ve given you some pointers in the downloadable document.

Next, write your ‘elevator pitch’. Download the template below and get your introduction written. Check how long you will have at your meeting, then practice and time your introduction to make sure you won't go over.
